    This paper is aimed at understanding, utilizing and improving the existing system and automating the graphics testing process. The paper involves developing an automation design for automating the graphics testing process involved in software testing of aircraft displays. The paper comes under software development; there are so many steps in software development like Requirement analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing and evolution. So testing is the one of the step which comes under software development. We are designing an automation tool in graphics testing. Graphic testing tests the display devices. The main motivation of this project is to save the time because current approach involves user to read each and every message box which gets popped up while executing script. This approach involves a lot of manual effort and a person has to physically present and do the test execution and also there is possibility of mistakes when a non-trained person working on it. So to make initial test set up as fast as possible, with no errors and with no manual effort we are developing an automation tool. The tool includes techniques of image comparison, optical character recognition and template matching. Our automation should be able to handle all kinds of text and digits. Implementing a design which is able to recognize characters which pops up from window and takes a decision of pass/fail based on the recognized characters, while doing testing automatically, for that we use optical character recognition and template matching is mainly used for object recognition. Image comparison is used to capture an image and do the executions process automatically

By using video conferencing, healthcare practitioners and patients can reduce the costs associated with regular office visits.     Habitat ecology and food and feeding of the herring bow crab, Varuna litterata of Cochin Backwaters, Kerala, India were investigated for a period of one year (April 2011-March 2012). Among the 15 stations surveyed, the crabs were found to occur only in 4 stations, which had a close proximity to the sea. Sediment analysis of the stations revealed that the substratum of these stations is sandy in nature and is rich in organic carbon content (0.79% to 1.07%). These estuarine crabs is euryhaline and are found to be distributed in areas with a sandy substratum, higher organic carbon content and more tidal influx. The stomach contents analysis of crabs examined showed that their diet included crustacean remains, plants, sand and debris, fishes, miscellaneous group and unidentified matter. In adults and sub-adults, crustaceans formed the dominant food group, while in juveniles, sand and debris formed the dominant group. From the present study, V. litterata was found to be a predatory omnivore capable of ingesting both animal and plant tissues

    Study of cholecystectomy specimens over a period of one year in tertiary care centre

    Background: Gall bladder is among the most common surgically resected organs with various neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions. Chronic chocystitis is the most commonly encountered lesion in India and worldwide and 78-90% are associated with calculi. Gall bladder cancer constitutes 0.5% to 1.09% including both suspected and incidental diagnosis. The objective of present study was to evaluate the various lesions of Gall bladder and the importance of grossing and histopathological examination of every cholecystectomy specimen in order to diagnose the incidental gall bladder cancer (IGBC).Methods: A Retrospective study of cholecystectomy specimens for a period of one year, May 2015 to June 2016 was carried out. 252 Cholecystectomy specimens were received and all of them subjected for histopathological examination and the sections stained with routine Hematoxylin and Eosin stain.Results: Commonest age group being 21-40years (41%) followed by 41-60years (40%). Gall bladder (GB) lesions are more common in females 175 (70%) and M:F ratio 1:2.2.Most commonest lesions were Chronic calculous cholecystitis constituting 155 cases (61%) followed by chronic cholecystitis 52 cases (21%). Cholelithiasis was associated with both Acute and Chronic Cholecytitis constituting 67%. Acute calculous cholecystits constitute 13 cases (5%) and Acute cholecystitis constitutes 10 cases (4%). In Congenital anomalies, 3 cases (1.2%) of Biliary atresia and 4 cases (1.2%) of choledochal cyst were diagnosed. 4 cases (1.6%) of Gall bladder carcinoma was diagnosed. Among these 3 cases were incidental gall bladder carcinoma (IGBC).Conclusions: cholecystectomy specimens should be subjected for histopathological examination to study various lesions of GB and to detect unsuspected incidental gall bladder cancer as cholecystectomy itself is the treatment for gall bladder cancer and also other lesions of GB associated with cholelithiasis

    HDR Image Quality Assessment using Tone Mapping Operators

    With the developments in Image acquisition techniques there is an increasing interest towards High Dynamic Range (HDR) images where the number of intensity levels ranges between 2 to 10,000. With these many intensity levels, the accurate representation of luminance variations is absolutely possible. But, because the standard display devices are devised to display Low Dynamic Range (LDR) images, there is a need to convert HDR image to LDR image without losing important image structures in HDR images. In the literature a number of techniques are proposed to get tone mapped image from HDR image. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyze four TMOs, i.e., Linear Mode, Gamma Correction, Reinhard and Reinhard with color correction. A subjective analysis tells us that the Reinhard with color correction has produced better results. In this paper two new tone mapping operators are proposed

    A study of correlation of expression of ER, PR and HER2/neu receptor status with clinico-pathological parameters in breast carcinoma at a tertiary care centre

    Background: In English literature it is documented that the expression of ER and PR is low in Asian countries when compared to that of Western countries. HER2/neu over expression is uniform throughout the world. Studies have shown that triple-negative breast carcinomas are aggressive, likely to spread beyond the breast and recur after treatment. Aims and objectives: To correlate the expression of ER, PR and HER 2/neu with clinico-pathological parameters in infiltrating ductal carcinoma and other variants of breast carcinoma. To determine the clinicopathological parameters in triple negative cases.Methods: This is a prospective study for a period of two years in the Department of Pathology, Andhra Medical College, a tertiary care centre. We received 111 mastectomy specimens during this period out of which 52 patients were funded under Arogyasri and were subjected for ER, PR, HER2/neu receptor study.Results: In the present study total cases analyzed were 52. Infiltrating ductal carcinoma was 41/52 (78.84%) and other variants were 11/52 (21.15%). In our institute infiltrating duct cell carcinoma (NOS) type was the commonest type of carcinoma breast with significant group occurring in less than 45 years of age, 95 % of women were multipara with two or more children and triple negative tumors being 54.83%.In infiltrating ductal carcinoma ER, PR positive expression has no association with age and size of tumor. Their expression was higher in grade 1 tumors 83.3%.The ER,PR negative expression was more in size of tumor being greater than 2 cm; (92.5%),positive lymph nodes (51.8%) and stage II and stage III tumors (96.2%). HER2/neu negative expression was seen in 51.61% of cases. Triple negative receptor expression was seen in 54.83% of infiltrating ductal carcinoma. In the English literature medullary carcinoma is negative for HER2/neu expression but in the present study in 2 cases the expression for HER2/neu was positive.Conclusion: In the present study significant group occurred in less than 45 years of age presenting in advanced stage of the disease. Triple negative cases were seen in 54.8% cases of infiltrating duct cell carcinoma indicating bad prognosis.
